- The various communities within Gujarat, India face many challenges for personal hygiene such as limited access to clean water, widespread poverty, and cultural stigmas against certain hygiene practices.
- Care Kit Outreach aims to help these communities start basic hygiene practices by giving them care kits with supplies such as tooth brushes and soap while spreading awareness about personal hygiene's importance.
- Care Kit Outreach aims to pack 250 care kits by October 2024.
- This project will be done in 3 phases:
- First Phase: Use volunteers to help pack 200 care kits with hygiene essentials.
- Second Phase: Ship the carekits to Gujarat, India.
- Third Phase: Distribute care kits in Valaam.
Circle the City
- Homeless people often face a lack of adequate healthcare due to obstacles such as a lack of money.
- Organizations like Circle the City provide healthcare services to homeless people regardless of their financial situation.
- Care Kit Outreach aims to help Circle the City by providing care kits filled with hygiene supplies which help patients keep clean during or after their treatment.
- Care Kit Outreach plans to pack 250 care kits by October 2024.
- This project will be done in 3 phases
- First Phase: Use volunteers to help pack 200 care kits with hygiene essentials
- Second Phase: Transport care kits to Circle the City
- Third Phase: Help Circle the City distribute care kits in their treatment centers and around the city.
Chaattisghar
- Communities within Chaattisghar struggle to maintain basic hygiene due to a massive need of simple hygiene products.
- Care Kit Outreach aims to help tribal areas within the community achieve basic hygiene practices and introduce young children within schools to hygiene products by providing kits with these basic essentials.
- Care Kit outreach plans to pack 50 care kits by November 2024.
- This project will be done in 3 phases:
- First Phase: Pack 50 kits with hygiene essentials
- Second phase: Send the kits to Chaattisghar
- Third Phase: Distribute the kits to a local school within the community
Aris Foundation
- Homeless people often don't have access to basic hygiene essentials due obstacles such as a lack of money .
- Organizations like Aris Foundation help supply the homeless with basic essentials needed for living such as food, clothes, and hygiene. Every Tuesday, Aris Foundation gathers volunteers who are able to provide supplies that are beneficial to homeless people for that week.
- Care Kit Outreach aims to help Aris Foundation by providing kits with basic essentials to supply to the homeless .
- Care Kit Outreach plans to pack 200 care kits by December 2024.
- This project will be done in 2 phases:
- First Phase: Gather volunteers to help pack 200 care kits
- Second Phase: Gather volunteers to help give out kits to the homeless through Aris Foundation
